Actress Flanagan gets jungle boot

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan on Monday left ITV reality show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” after losing the public vote.

She was best-known for failing a series of bushtucker trials but denied it had been part of a game plan.

“Oh my God, I completely wish, because honestly, ever since I’ve been here I’ve just been absolutely cringing about how bad I’m going to look in these trials, thinking this is so humiliating — I will never be able to live this down,” she said.

“When I first came into the show I was thinking ‘Yeah, I’m really strong-minded, I’ll be able to do all the trials and things’.

“I didn’t think they were going to be as hard,” she added.
