N.Ireland woman in court on explosive charges

A 36-year-old woman is due in court in Northern Ireland later Friday after being charged with possession of explosives and of items likely to be of use for terrorism.

Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) detectives detained the woman after spotting a suspicious vehicle in Drum Road, Cookstown, Mid Ulster, on Tuesday.

She is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court, police said.
