Beirut (AFP) – At least 25 civilians were killed in heavy Russian and Syrian strikes across the rebel-held east of Aleppo on Saturday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Among the dead were seven people killed as they queued to buy yoghurt at a market in the Bustan al-Qasr neighbourhood, the Britain-based monitoring group said.
