ABC News: North Korea Govt Behind Sony Hack

On Wednesday’s broadcast of ABC’s “World News,” network report Cecilia Vega confirmed North Korea was behind the cyber-attack on Sony.

“Tonight, ABC News has learned federal investigators have determined North Korea is responsible for the worst corporate cyber-attack in history,” Vega said. “Sources say agents are closely scrutinizing an elite high-tech cyber-spy unit called Bureau 121 — the group, believed to have recently hacked into tens of thousands of South Korean mobile devices, banks and broadcasters. Tonight, Sony’s decision angering some in Hollywood. Rob Lowe tweeting he’s never seen or heard anything like this. This is one of the theaters that pulled the plug on the movie. Tonight, sources say it is undecided if Sony will ever release “The Interview” in theaters or on any other platforms.”
