WNBC in New York reported that a group of former NYPD officers used a plane to express their disdain with Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) on Friday.
According to WNBC, the plane flew down the Hudson River towing a banner reading “DE BLASIO, OUR BACKS HAVE TURNED TO YOU.” The officers issued a statement saying “Mayor de Blasio turned his back on us, long before we turned our backs on him.”
Another video uploaded to YouTube appears to show the plane in flight around New York City.
