The president had an action packed day on Friday as a surveillance video was released that changes the Ferguson narrative dramatically, Ukrainian artillery destroyed part of a convoy of Russian military vehicles, Governor Rick Perry sent 1000 State and National Guard troops to the Texas Southern border, and security officials, lawmakers and analysts raised the alarm about ISIS posing a direct threat to the West which they say must be confronted directly.
Some in the conservative blogosphere snarked that Obama was taking “a break from golfing to go bike riding instead.” But that is unfair to the president. He found time to do both, today.
“Hey guys,” Obama told reporters and photographers as pedaled past. “Nice day, huh?”After the ride, Obama headed for Farm Neck Golf Club for an afternoon round with three friends: Glenn Hutchins, Cyrus Walker, and Robert Wolf.
