Dallas PD Confirms Illegal Aliens Kidnapped and Assaulted Minor Female Near SMU

HOUSTON, Texas — Three Mexican citizens, who are present in the United States illegally, have been arrested in conjunction with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl near the campus of Southern Methodist University (SMU). The three men were arrested on Wednesday morning after the van they were driving was stopped by SMU police officers who noticed the vehicle driving erratically.

The minor female had been walking from one relative’s home to another relative’s home at about 4:30 in the morning. She was approached by the driver of a van who asked if she wanted a ride. Seeing no one else in the van, she accepted the offer and got in the van according to a statement by Dallas Police Major Rob Sherwin. After entering the van she discovered two more men in the vehicle she had not previously seen. The suspects began driving around and when the young girl protested the suspects allegedly began to assault her physically and sexually. This continued for about an hour and a half. The suspects allegedly took turns driving so each had a turn with the girl.

At about 6:00 a.m. the suspects arrived on the SMU campus and were noticed driving in a suspicious manner by SMU police. The officers initiated a traffic stop and the victim jumped out of the van and asked for help. The suspects were immediately taken into custody by SMU police and later transferred to the Dallas Police Department which is investigating the case.

Dallas PD confirmed to Breitbart Texas that the three men: Braulio Valencia Hernandez, age 35; Antonio Hernandez Cabrera, age 36; and Rogelio Bedolla Munoz, age 57; were all Mexican nationals who were in the United States illegally.

Dallas PD was unable to confirm if the three men had prior criminal histories or had been previously deported at this time. However, during a press conference, Major Sherwin stated the men had no prior Texas criminal history.

Currently the men are being held in the Dallas County Jail on charges of Aggravated Kidnapping. They are also being detained on a Homeland Security Investigations hold.

Officials have repeatedly stated the alleged sexual assault did not occur on the campus of SMU.

The young girl was treated at a local hospital and released to her family. Dallas PD told Breitbart Texas no other information is available at this time.
