ESPN Radio Host: No Sophistication Required to Be Indiana Governor

On ESPN Radio’s “The Right Time with Bomani Jones” on Tuesday, host Bomani Jones commented on Indiana’s Religious Freedom Law, which has been interpreted by many left-leaning pundits and outlets as a license for businesses in Indiana can refuse service to some based on religious beliefs.

According to Jones, Gov. Mike Pence (R-IN) is not equipped for the backlash he is getting over the new law.

“Being the governor of Indiana is a local office. Like, being the governor of California is something like that, that’s one thing. You don’t have to be so sophisticated to maneuver that one, right? You’re the governor of Indiana, you know, it’s whatever. You can just kinda make this sorta thing work. That man didn’t seem to be equipped for what this is. But now that this money is backing out, everybody’s gotta figure out a way to make this change.”
