In a Friday appearance on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) discussed former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who while pushing his new book has suggested there were those in the Department of Justice looking into using the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump.
Some GOP leaders are demanding that Meadows testifies in front of Congress.
Meadows said although McCabe is “not a credible witness,” Congress needs to hear from him again regarding the plot to take down President Donald Trump within the FBI and Department of Justice.
“This would be, certainly, an administrative coup, and we know far too much,” Meadows stated.
He added, “We know enough of the facts, and I take whatever Andy McCabe says with a grain of salt because over and over again he has given false testimony to some of his FBI people.”
