Dem Intel Rep. Speier: Cohen’s Testimony ‘Was Very Compelling,’ ‘Revealing and Explosive’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” House Intelligence Committee member Jackie Speier (D-CA) stated that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen “was very compelling,” during his closed-door testimony before the committee earlier in the day, and his testimony “was both revealing and explosive” in a way that was different from his testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

Speier said, “I can tell you that he was very compelling, that his testimony was both revealing and explosive on yet another level that was different from what it was during the Oversight and Government Reform hearing last week.”

She added that Cohen “talked about other issue areas.”
