Actor Jim Carrey endorsed Democrats and blasted Republicans for “the rise of racist hate groups” and President Donald Trump for possible “treason” Tuesday.
“Shameless lies. Endless indictments. The rise of racist hate groups. Kidnapped children. Contempt for rule of law – and quite possibly TREASON. Let’s end this ill-wind that’s blowing America off-balance and turning us against each other. VOTE DEMOCRAT!” Jim Carrey said in a social media post.

Carrey’s endorsement of Democrats comes as many celebrities have gone all out in their push to unseat Republicans across the country.
Since 2016, Jim Carrey has been using his social media presence to post deranged drawings attacking President Trump and his administration and the president’s children.
The Ace Ventura star blamed Trump for apparent mail bombs sent to prominent Democrats in October, saying, “Today they tried to murder two Presidents as well as public servants and journalists. Make no mistake, these terrorists were encouraged and emboldened by the hate speech of Donald Trump. If you can’t see the clear menace of this man’s influence by now then you are a part of it.”

The 56-year-old actor also embraced socialism in September, saying, “We have to say yes to socialism–to the word and everything.”
