Goo Goo Dolls celebrate 3B streams on Spotify

Jan. 1 (UPI) — The rock group Goo Goo Dolls marked a major milestone Thursday.

Their beloved song, “Iris,” has reached 3 billion streams on Spotify.

The group, who performed the song on ABC’s Dick Clark’s New York Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest Wednesday night, are set to go on tour next summer with Neon Trees.

Goo Goo Dolls was founded by Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac in Buffalo, N.Y., in 1986.

Their songs also include “Slide,” “Better Days,” “Name,” “Broadway” and “Black Balloon.”
