Nov. 10 (UPI) — An Ohio woman pushed the wrong button on an Ohio Lottery vending machine and set off a series of events that ended with her winning over $50,000.

The Minister resident, named Nancy, told Ohio Lottery officials her luck began when she accidentally hit the wrong button while using a self-serve kiosk at Wagners IGA on East 4th Street in Minister and wound up with a Cash Explosion ticket she hadn’t intended to buy.

The ticket earned her the chance to win big money on the lottery’s Cash Explosion TV series.

She wound up winning $7,500 in the first round of the show, and scored $50,000 in the “Second Chance” Cash Challenge.

Nancy also won $1,000 worth of Win It All tickets, which ended up earning her another $785.

The winner said she and her husband will use the winnings to build an addition to their home.
