Oct. 28 (UPI) — Longtime friends Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato reunite in a new video.
Gomez and Lovato, both 34, appear together in a new campaign released Wednesday for Gomez’s Rare Beauty cosmetics brand.
The video, shot in the style of the pair’s 2008 Demi and Selena Show YouTube series, shows Gomez and Lovato answer questions from fans, including “What is your favorite song right now?”
The friends and former co-stars answered “One and the Same,” the duet they released for their 2009 Disney Channel movie Princess Protection Program, before lip syncing and dancing to the song.
“I felt like that was our moment when we felt like Avril Lavigne,” Gomez said.
“Yes! And Kelly Clarkson,” Lovato added. “Always Kelly Clarkson.”
Gomez and Lovato later promoted Rare Beauty products including their Delena: Soft Pinch Blush Bundle collaboration.

Gomez and Lovato both came to fame as child stars on Barney & Friends. Gomez now stars on the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, while Lovato released her ninth album, It’s Not That Deep, in October 2025.
