Sen. Marco Rubio’s Endorser Cannot Name Any of His Accomplishments

Another Marco Rubio (R-FL) endorser has been unable to name a single thing that the Florida Senator has accomplished in Washington.

Appearing on MSNBC Wednesday, Rep. Cresent Hardy (R-NV), a Rubio surrogate, was asked if he could name anything his preferred presidential candidate has accomplished over the past year.

“Is there one thing you can name over the last year that you’ve seen first-hand on the Hill that he has done that demonstrates presidential character, to be able to get things done?” host Thomas Roberts asked Hardy.

Hardy, who just completed his first year as a Congressman, responded: “On the Hill I have not seen that. He has been running for a presidential race this year,”

“As far as his policies in the past, I know he’s done some things that might even be a little frustrating for an individual like myself at times,” he added.

Hardy praised Rubio’s work on the Gang of Eight immigration bill, which Rubio helped push forward with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and President Barack Obama, among other far-left Democrats.

The amnesty bill was a “very good process that he was trying to get as much in there for conservatives in this country and then going to send it to the House for a final decision,” the Nevada Congressman said.

“And the House got to make that choice, and I believe it was the right choice, it didn’t go through,” he concluded.

Similarly, Rubio endorser Rick Santorum has been caught unable to name any of the presidential candidate’s accomplishments in the Senate.

After dropping out of the presidential race in early February, Santorum appeared on MSNBC and was asked to name Rubio’s “top accomplishment.” He responded, “I guess it’s hard to say there are accomplishments” when “nothing gets done” in Washington.

Rubio’s critics have alleged that the Florida Senator is a career politician who has no real life or private sector experience other than holding political office.
