Transgender actor and reality TV personality Candis Cayne endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Saturday.

In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the 44-year-old male-born trans icon praised Clinton, telling the publication, “I’ve been a fan of Hillary’s for a long time … I think she’s doing amazing work.”

Cayne, who was born Brendan, added Hillary is “going to push for rights for trans people,” stating, “that’s a really big thing.”

“The way society is feeling right now, it could be very dangerous for a lot of my trans brothers and sisters,” he said. “That only gets exasperated and becomes a higher issue if somebody who is leading our country doesn’t respect who we are.”

Cayne and I Am Cait star Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner, will discuss their differing political views on this week’s episode of the E! docu-series, which follows Jenner as he transitions from a man into a woman.

In a newly released preview of the upcoming episode, Jenner engages in a heated political exchange with members of his trans entourage — including Cayne.

On Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, Jenner tells his gender bending posse: “I’m not a big fan because I think of his macho attitude. I think he would have a hard time with women when he doesn’t even realize it, and it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be good for women’s issues.”

Jenner adds: “I think he would be very good for women’s issues.”

The 66-year-old former Olympian athlete was not as kind in his analysis of Cayne’s candidate of choice.

“Oh my God, yes, I would never ever ever vote for Hillary,” he says in the preview. “We’re done, if Hillary becomes president — the country is over.”

Citing Clinton’s handling of Benghazi and her use of a private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State, Jenner concludes Hillary is a “f–king liar” and a “political hack.”

“You want a person that’s going to lie to you?” Jenner asks his entourage.

Jenner is currently in hot water with the trans and LGBT communities over his support of Republican presidential candidate, Sen. Ted Cruz.
