Federal Charges for Friend of Dayton Shooter for Allegedly ‘Lying’ on Gun Forms

An unnamed friend of the August 3, 2019, Dayton, Ohio, shooter is facing charges for allegedly lying on background check forms.

Details are scant, but ABC News reports the friend faces charges from the U.S. Department of Justice for “allegedly lying on federal firearms forms.”

WHIO reports that details on the charges and the individual charged will be covered during a press conference at 2 pm ET.
