President Donald Trump ridiculed his former communications director Anthony Scaramucci in a video shared via Twitter on Tuesday night.

The video featured Scaramucci’s gushing praise of the president when he had a job at the White House and even after he was fired with just 11 days to show for his efforts. “Nobody ever heard of this dope until he met me,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “He only lasted 11 days!”

“I love the president and I’m very very loyal to the president,” Scaramucci is featured saying behind the White House podium. “We won the presidency because of Donald J. Trump. He is an unbelievable politician.”

“If he cared what people said about him, there’s no way that he’d be president,” Scaramucci says in another interview.

“I love the president and I think a lot of you guys know I’ve been very very loyal to him, I’ve seen him in operation over the last 20+ years, the president has really good karma ok? And the world turns back to him,” he said.

The video exposes Scaramucci’s dramatic change from a fervent supporter to a loathing dissenter, as he spent several days in August condemning the president.

Scaramucci responded with a quote from a Roman philosopher on Twitter.

“To Err is Human but to Persist in Mistake is Diabolical.” — Seneca
