An unidentified party has added $100,000 to the reward for information about the deaths of Abigail Williams and Libby German, police announced Monday.

Indiana State Police announced Monday an anonymous donor had added nearly 50% to the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the deaths of 13-year-old Abigail Williams and 14-year-old Libby German. The girls’ bodies were discovered on Valentine’s Day 2017, near Monon High Bridge on the Delphi Historic Trail.

Williams and German had gone on a walk along the trail the day before, but never arrived at their arranged pick-up spot. While investigators are still protecting most information around the case, video found on Libby’s cell phone shows what appears to be a white male with hands in his pockets approaching them. Audio released with the footage recorded the suspect’s voice saying “down the hill.”

“It has been four years, but for us, it seems like it was just yesterday when we started this thing,” Sheriff Leazenby said near the anniversary of their deaths this year. “We still have the up and down days is the best way to put it,” he added. “My term ends in 2022 – would love nothing more than to see someone convicted of this crime before I am out of office.”

Authorities have asked that anyone with information contact authorities via the official investigation page.
