Colts Owner Sends Twitter Fan $8500 in Cash for Guessing AFC Title Game Score

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay sent a random follower on Twitter $8,500 in cash for most accurately predicting the score of Sunday’s AFC title game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots.

Before the game on Sunday, Irsay tweeted he would give $8,500 to the person who could predict the score of the game with a one-point buffer. One fan tweeted him that Baltimore would win 27-13. He was off by one point (Baltimore won 28-13).

After the game, Irsay sent the fan, “Jason,” a DM (direct message) asking him for his address.

And on Wednesday, Jason received $8,500 in hundred-dollar bills in a FedEx package with a note from Irsay.
