UCLA Claims Pac 12 Title Outright with Win, Oregon Loss

Back on January 24, Breitbart Sports predicted something might be brewing in Los Angeles, as the freshman trio was only going to get better the rest of the season.

The preseason Value Add ranking of UCLA as a potential Final Four team and freshman Shabazz Muhammad (pictured guarding 7-foot Aziz N’Diaye of Washington today) a potential All-American seemed laughable when the NCAA did not allow Muhammad to play. Stop laughing – UCLA has come out of nowhere to win the Pac 12 championship outright by winning at Washington 61-54 and watching Utah stun Oregon later Saturday.

After a terrible start, UCLA had climbed all the way to No. 23 with a dominant trio of freshman that are playing like sophomores. At 6-foot-5, Jordan Adams has been the best of the three and is moving into the top 50 players in the country, while dominant power forward Kyle Anderson and the biggest recruit of the year Muhammad are now ready to play in the NBA.

To lead the young trio, senior Larry Drew II came up big again Saturday in the 61-54 win, and Muhammad scored another 21 points including 14 in the second half.
