Freeda Foreman, boxing great George Foreman’s daughter, died from an apparent suicide in Texas, according to authorities.

The 42-year-old Freeda was found dead inside her Houston, Texas, home on March 9. Police said they did not suspect any foul play at the time.

But now authorities say that the woman’s death is likely a suicide by hanging, according to TMZ.

Freeda had a short boxing career of only six bouts, winning all but one. She reportedly quit the sport after revealing that her father was not very happy about her competing in the ring.

The one-time boxer leaves behind a husband, two daughters, and three grandchildren.

Freeda is the second sportswoman to die via a likely suicide over the weekend.

On Friday, Olympic track cyclist Kelly Catlin was found dead in her California home. She was 23.

Catlin’s father, Mark Catlin, told the media that his daughter killed herself.
