The mainstream media—following the lead of the New York Times—is once again engaging in a factually false whitewash of the “ black liberation” movement as they erroneously report on the recent release of the last of the violent Angola Three. This group of criminals wrapped themselves in the Black Panthers cloak and became a cause célèbre for the activist left.

Beyoncé performed a tribute to the militant Black Panthers Party during Sunday evening’s halftime show at Super Bowl 50 that some, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, called a blatant attack on law enforcement. But the pop star might have been late to the performance if she hadn’t received a highway-clearing police escort to deliver her to Levi’s Stadium on time.

Former Black Panther Leader Sues Oakland over Brawl

Elaine Brown, 72, former head of the Black Panthers from 1974 to 1977, and who was implicated (though never charged) in the murder of accountant Betty Van Patter, is suing the city of Oakland for $1 million after Councilwoman Desley Brooks allegedly assaulted her at a local restaurant.
