Abbas Thanks Soros-Funded J Street for Lobbying Efforts

TEL AVIV – Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas thanked the leaders of J Street for their work lobbying the Trump administration against its recent decisions regarding the Palestinians during a meeting with the dovish policy group at his Ramallah headquarters.

Israel Approves 150 Homes in Eastern Jerusalem

Israeli officials on Thursday gave final approval to build 153 housing units in East Jerusalem, two days after approving construction for some 2,500 homes in the West Bank, most in existing settlement blocs Israel hopes to keep in any peace deal with the Palestinians.

State Dept. Reaction to Terror Attack Contradicts Obama, Kerry, UN

The U.S. Department of State referred to the site of Sunday’s Palestinian terror attack against Israeli pedestrians as “Jerusalem,” even though the attack — which killed four Israeli soldiers — occurred in the neighborhood of East Talpiyot, which the Obama administration officially considers a “settlement” in the “occupied” city of “East Jerusalem.”

Hamas, Islamic Jihad Terror Groups Praise UN Anti-Israel Resolution

Palestinian terrorist factions, including the Islamist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, welcomed the UN Security Council resolution condemning Israel’s settlement policy and branding Jewish settlements in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem as illegal and dangerous to the so-called two-state solution.
