Hannity to Texas Governor: ‘Good Job in Texas, I’ll Tell You That!’

Texas Governor Greg Abbott was interviewed by Sean Hannity and the nationally syndicated radio talk show host told Abbott – “Good job in Texas, I’ll tell you that!” Hannity commended Abbott for his tough stance on sanctuary cities, his lawsuit against the Obama administration’s amnesty program, and putting a halt to Obama’s amnesty during his tenure as President. The talk show host also asked the Texas Governor who he was supporting as President.

Sex Offender Apprehended Illegally Re-entering U.S.

Customs and Border Protection revealed Friday that earlier this week Border Patrol Agents from the Santa Teresa Station intercepted five individuals climbing through a hole in the border fence. The agents chased the five subjects, finding them as they tried to hide in desert brush. One of the five illegal immigrants was Mario Perez-Contrera who had, what CBP described as, an “extensive criminal history.”

Report: GOP Divided On Mandatory Minimums For Previously Deported Illegals

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) would like to see legislation that would impose a mandatory minimum of five years on illegal immigrants who re-enter the country illegally after being deported. Last month Cruz introduced “Kate’s Law” that would apply such minimums.
