Top Los Zetas Cartel Boss Busted in Mexico After Multiple Deportations from Texas

NUEVO LAREDO, Tamaulipas — Violent clashes in this border city have led to nine deaths–one of those was a soldier and the eight others were hit-men with Los Zetas drug cartel. The shootouts took place not far from the Rio Grande and the Texas city of Laredo.

Mexican authorities continue to look into the kidnapping that led to a firefight that killed five Los Zetas cartel members and one Mexican soldier. A series of graphic photos obtained by Breitbart Texas shows the carnage that took place not far from the border with the United States in Nuevo Laredo, the sister city of Laredo, Texas.

Five cartel kidnappers and one Mexican soldier died during a fierce gun battle in the border city of Nuevo Laredo, just south from the Texas city of Laredo. The soldiers managed to rescue a woman that Los Zetas had apparently kidnapped. The shootout took place over the weekend when soldiers with the Mexican military set up an operation to rescue a kidnapping victim, information provided to Breitbart Texas by the Tamaulipas government revealed.

A total of 18 members of Los Zetas drug smuggling cell that operated in Texas and moved drugs from Laredo to Dallas plead guilty to various charges in U.S. federal court and are awaiting sentencing.

A Texas woman was shot in Mexico after leaving her dentist appointment. An unknown gunman walked up to a woman from San Antonio and shot her in the head. The woman had just walked out of a dentist’s office in the border city of Nuevo Laredo.

On Sunday night the Mexican State of Tamaulipas announced the murder of two off-duty state police officers. The two men were killed and another was injured while headed to the U.S. border city of Laredo with a large amount of cash.

A Hispanic Texan who is a life-long Democrat and lives in the border town of Laredo came out to the airport to give Donald Trump a message. Draped in an American flag, he told Breitbart Texas he is ready for something different and would vote for Trump in the 2016 Texas Republican Primary.
