Windsor High School Principal Tiffany Riley has beensuspended this week in response to comments she made about the Black Lives Matter movement. Riley sparked controversy in the community when she criticized Black Lives Matter and advocated on behalf of law enforcement and equity for all. The Mount Ascutney School District called Riley’s remarks tained by “ignorance, prejudice, and lack of judgment.”

Wendy’s announced earlier this month that it would donate $500,000 to help the black community and promised “to amplify Black voices” on its Twitter account — before being targeted by rioters in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday night.

A CNN crew was attacked outside the Atlanta, Georgia, Wendy’s where 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks was killed in a confrontation with police on Friday evening, as rioters began attacking and setting fire to the restaurant Saturday night.
