Google Maps temporarily renamed President-elect Donald Trump’s New York HQ from Trump Tower to “Dump Tower” over the weekend.

Social media users noticed the new name on Saturday afternoon.

In a statement to Breitbart News, a Google spokesperson said, “Some inappropriate names were surfacing in Google Maps that should not be, and we apologize for any offense this may have caused. Our teams immediately took action and have fixed the issue.”

The company did not denote whether the maps had been altered from people within or outside the company.

During the election campaign, Google established itself as firmly anti-Trump, with emails released by WikiLeaks showing that the company’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt even proposed a campaign plan for Hillary Clinton.

Since his election victory, Trump has been using the building as his transition headquarters as he prepares to assume office.
