DiGenova: 'Shame' On House GOP For Lack Of Benghazi Subpoenas

Former US Attorney Joe DiGenova called out House Republican leadership and, specifically, Armed Services Chairman Buck McKeon (R-CA) Monday morning for not aggressively issuing subpoenas in relation to the Benghazi terrorist attacks and suspected cover-up.

DiGenova and his wife and legal partner Victoria Toensing represent Benghazi whistle-blowers from the State Department.

Appearing on WMAL’s “Mornings on the Mall” in Washington DC, DiGenova told me and co-host Brian Wilson that the GOP leadership, with the exception of House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Darryl Issa (R-CA), should be ashamed for not aggressively using their subpoena power to get to the bottom of who was relieved of command the night of the Benghazi attacks.

He went on to charge that the Republicans on the Armed Service Committee “sits there like dolts, doing nothing,” and he continued, “The Republicans are in bed with D.O.D. on the House Armed Services Committee, and it’s an embarrassment.”
