Russians Get Prizes For Producing Babies

Sky News: Couples in population-crisis hit Russia are being encouraged to make love for the Motherland with TVs and fridges being offered to those who produce babies. In an initiative labeled Conception Day, couples across the city of Ulyanovsk pledged to do their bit for patriotic procreation.



If the reward of a newborn baby is not enough, there is the added bonus of a television, fridge, cash or in the case of the Magarin family – a brand new car aptly named The Patriot.
