Tim Kaine: Under Speaker Ryan, U.S. Will Enact Amnesty in 2017

KENOSHA, WI–Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine told Telemundo that House Speaker Paul Ryan would work with a President Hillary Clinton to enact amnesty within Clinton’s first 100 days in office.

As the Washington Times reports:

A new Clinton administration would pursue a bill to legalize illegal immigrants in “the first 100 days” of her tenure, vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine told Spanish-language network Telemundo in an interview Monday… [Kaine] said House Speaker Paul D. Ryan will lead the GOP to embrace legalization.

‘Paul Ryan and the other leaders of his party are going to understand that if they want a future for their party they are going to have to work together to find a solution to this,’ Mr. Kaine told ‘Noticias Telemundo,’ according to a transcript provided by the network.

Breitbart News reached out to Ryan’s spokesman to ask if Ryan disagreed with Kaine’s assertion. Ryan’s spokesman did not respond for comment.

A review of Clinton’s stated positions on the issue of immigration suggests that she is perhaps the most extreme candidate on immigration ever to run for the office of the U.S. Presidency. The publicly articulated proposals Clinton has put forth would effectively result in the dissolution of the U.S. border within her first 100 days in office.

Yet Bloomberg similarly reports that Kaine believes Speaker Ryan would help advance a President Clinton’s agenda:

Kaine insisted on Sunday that Clinton’s agenda wouldn’t be ‘DOA’ despite a Republican House because of Ryan. He noted that Ryan helped solve the 2013 shutdown showdown over defunding Obamacare, and his admiration for Ryan continued after he took the speaker’s gavel from John Boehner last year and helped craft a bipartisan spending bill.

As Breitbart News has previously reported, Ryan’s spending bill fully funded President Obama’s immigration agenda—including funding for sanctuary cities, unconstitutional executive amnesty, and a controversial expansion of Obama’s refugee resettlement operation.

The Bloomberg report continues— noting that Ryan’s views on trade and immigration are very much in line with Clinton’s views on the issues:

‘He [Ryan] wants to do things,’ Kaine said. ‘He wants not just a portrait but he would like a legacy. That’s my belief. There’s going to be room to make some things happen.’

On trade and immigration — Donald Trump’s signature issues — Ryan and Clinton have much in common, with long histories of backing free-trade agreements and immigration principles that would allow most people here illegally a way to stay.”

Ryan’s spokesman similarly declined to comment to Bloomberg about Kaine’s praise for Ryan.

A review of Ryan’s record seems to confirm Kaine’s belief that Ryan would advance Hillary Clinton’s immigration agenda.

Paul Ryan is perhaps Congress’s greatest advocate for open borders and has a two decade history of pushing the open borders immigration policies desired by the GOP donor class.

“There is nobody around in the party who is more fanatically dedicated to the cause of open borders than Paul Ryan,” Conservative Review’s Daniel Horowitz has explained. “Whereas most others could be talked off the ledge on this issue, Ryan is a true believer.”

“Open Borders is in his ideological DNA,” NumbersUSA President, Roy Beck, has said. “Open borders seeps out of every pore of his being.”

Dating back to his time as a Capitol Hill staffer in the mid-90s, Ryan was part of the effort to derail the bipartisan immigration curbs inspired by Civil Rights leader and late-Democratic Congresswoman Barbara Jordan.

In the 90s, Ryan also joined Jack Kemp in campaigning against California’s popular ballot initiative Prop 187, which would have cracked down on illegal immigration by denying state benefits to illegals.

In 2013, Paul Ryan worked hand-in-hand with open borders advocate Luis Gutierrez to push the Obama-Rubio amnesty agenda. Gutierrez has previously said, “I have only one loyalty…and that’s to the immigrant community.”

At a joint event with Gutierrez in 2013, Ryan made the case for dissolving borders—declaring unabashedly that America “is more than our borders.”

In 2015, Gutierrez, who has since endorsed Hillary Clinton for President, was one of Ryan’s earliest endorsements for House Speaker.

Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, who is running to unseat Ryan in his August 9th primary election, has said that Paul Ryan is the “most open borders, pro-Wall Street, anti-worker member of Congress in either party.”

“Ryan smirks alongside open borders special interests while he shoves policies [onto Wisconsin workers] that overwhelm our hospitals, our schools, and our unemployment lines,” Nehlen has said.

Nehlen has explained that Wisconsin voters, with their one vote on August 9th, have the power to “stop amnesty” by ousting Ryan.

“With your vote on August 9th, you have a chance to save your entire country from open borders,” Nehlen recently said during a press conference in front of Paul Ryan’s personal border wall. “With your vote on August 9th, you can save your entire country from globalism.”
