$4.1B LAX Makeover Includes Parisian Bar Offering $20K Cognac

The Los Angeles International Airport is undergoing a full makeover at taxpayer expense, to the tune of $4.1 billion. The new Great Hall at Tom Bradley International Terminal will include Hermes and Gucci, as well as a Parisian bar offering bottles of $20,000 cognac. The terminal is already two years from completion and significantly behind schedule.

Travelers will be able to view an 80-foot “Welcome Wall” with images of clouds and the Los Angeles shoreline. The terminal will be peppered with 60 stores and restaurants.
