The story regarding Israel's Tuesday strike on a Syrian arms shipment has been updated somewhat to include Syrian weapon manufacturing centers.
Reports now indicate that Israel struck multiple points within Syria on Tuesday night, and that the U.S. was in full support of the attacks.
In fact, these same reports indicate the U.S. may join Israel in carrying out the next wave of strikes.
One of the targets appears to have been Syria's Scientific Studies and Research Center, which intelligence reports described as "a state organization responsible for developing biological and chemical weapons and transferring them to Hezbollah and Hamas."
You'll recall Israel took a similar tact in 2007, when they struck a Syrian bomb building facility where "warheads fueled by North Korean plutonium" were being assembled.
