Sister: Iran Killed Nuclear Scientist for Refusing To Develop Nuke 12 Times Stronger than Hiroshima

Until now, a common understanding of the details surrounding Iranian Dr. Ardeshir Hosseinpour’s death was that he was reportedly assassinated in 2007, and presumably at the hands of Israel, which had hoped to slow-down Iran’s nuclear program through clandestine operations.

Israel’s government policy neither to confirm nor deny instances such as these; coupled with Iran placing blame on Jerusalem for facilitating the alleged assassinations, seemingly shut the door on any further possibilities that could arise from the “gassing” of Dr. Hosseinpour.

However, the sister of Dr. Hosseinpour has come forward–some seven years later–telling The Media Line a very different story from the commonly-held narrative. She claimed in the Skype interview that it was Iran’s own Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) that killed her brother; largely because of his refusal to help weaponize the Ayatollah’s nuclear program.

Mahboobeh Hosseinpour continued, talking about how she learned through her sister in law about her brother’s research into nuclear research. She said that he had been tasked with helping to create a bomb that would have twelve times the power of the Hiroshima atomic bomb dropped on Japan at the end of World War II.

“He was offered a two star rank in the Revolutionary Guard” if he agreed to join the nuclear program, she said. Mahmoobeh Hosseinpour also mentioned that the Ayatollah Khamenei had attached a personal message to try and sway Dr. Hosseinpour towards joining the effort. When he refused, he was killed by the guard, she alleged.

Prominent Iranian journalist Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh has come out in support of Mahboobeh’s assertion that her brother was not taken out by the Israelis, but instead killed by Iranian forces within.

Separately, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the world Monday at the United Nations in New York. He said regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran:

The Nazis believed in a master race. The militant Islamists believe in a master faith. They just disagree about who among them will be the master… of the master faith. That’s what they truly disagree about. Therefore, the question before us is whether militant Islam will have the power to realize its unbridled ambitions.

There is one place where that could soon happen: The Islamic State of Iran. For 35 years, Iran has relentlessly pursued the global mission which was set forth by its founding ruler, Ayatollah Khomeini, in these words: We will export our revolution to the entire world. Until the cry “There is no God but Allah” will echo throughout the world over… And ever since, the regime’s brutal enforcers, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, have done exactly that.
