Jesse Jackson: Dennis Rodman 'Light' in 'Dark' North Korea

On Monday, Jesse Jackson praised Dennis Rodman, saying he was a “light” where it may be dark regarding his “diplomacy efforts” in North Korea.

Jackson tweeted his words before Rodman was set to coach an exhibition basketball game with some former NBA players on North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un’s birthday. Kim Jong-un recently executed his uncle, but that seems to not have phased Rodman, who has insisted that he likes the dictator.

Jackson later deleted his tweet and tweeted, “ping pong diplomacy worked in China, and Basketball seems to work in North Korea. #KeepHopeAlive”
