Cecile Richards Lied About Mammograms, Finally Comes Clean

One of the arguments Cecile Richards has trotted out in the past whenever Planned Parenthood funding is challenged is that women would lose basic health care, including mammograms.

During a funding cut debate in 2011 Richards appeared on CNN and said, “If this bill becomes law millions of women are going to lose their health care access, not to abortion services to basic family planning, mammograms.”

This inspired LifeAction to call Planned Parenthood facilities around the country asking for a mammogram. Every facility they called told callers that they did not do mammograms.

In testimony under oath before the House Oversight Committee, Cecile Richards finally came clean about the mammogram lie. She said repeatedly to the House panel that her organization and none of its facilities do mammograms. She seemed surprised that anyone thought otherwise.

Now, if she could explain this to Hillary Clinton and other Democrats who insist Planned Parenthood does them.
