Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson: ‘Cultic’ Glenn Beck ‘Licked Boots’ of Billionaires

Last Monday, the Daily Caller’s Tucker Carlson appeared on Alex Jones’s Infowars.com to discuss Glenn Beck’s behavior at the closed-door meeting a group of conservatives had with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg last month.

The social media billionaire called the meeting as a damage-control measure following reports that Facebook’s news curators actively suppress conservative stories while simultaneously boosting the signal of leftwing causes.

Carlson, who also attended the meeting, later described Beck’s behavior as “the most extended assiduous suck-up I think I’ve ever seen a grown man commit.”

Carlson told Politico that Beck “acted like he was auditioning to be Mark Zuckerberg’s manservant.”

He addressed these allegations with Jones, confirming that Beck “behaved in a pretty self-discrediting way” at the meeting.

Carlson added, “It’s interesting to see people around billionaires. I’ve got nothing against billionaires. I’m impressed by people who make their own fortunes, of course. But I also don’t feel the need to slavishly suck-up to them, to lick their boots, and he does. So, that was kind of interesting.”

Jones then relayed his own contentious history with Beck over the years and offered his opinion on The Blaze founder’s mental health and “cultic” tendencies that approach “Jim Jones territory.”

Jones also mentioned Beck’s suspension from SiriusXM, saying that he agreed with the company’s decision.
