Reports: Trump Deletes Tweet Saying it was an ‘Honor’ to Host Abbas

The NY Post reports: A tweet on President Trump’s account about what an “honor” it was to host Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House was removed.

Following their meeting Wednesday, Trump wrote on Twitter: “An honor to host President Mahmoud Abbas at the WH today. Hopefully something terrific could come out it between the Palestinians & Israel.” But the tweet couldn’t be found on Trump’s personal account or on the official @POTUS account on Thursday.

A search for Trump’s tweet, which had been shared by thousands, prompted a “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” message.
