Australia 270 all out against England, lead by 32

Australia were bowled out for 270 in reply to England’s first innings 238, a lead of 32 runs, on the third day of the fourth Ashes Test at Chester-le-Street on Sunday.

Chris Rogers top-scored with 110, his maiden Test century, but added just nine runs to his overnight 101 not out on Sunday before he was caught by wicketkeeper Matt Prior off spinner Graeme Swann.

Stuart Broad, who took four wickets on Saturday, led England’s attack with five wickets for 71 runs in 24.3 overs — the ninth time he’d taken five or more wickets in an innings in his 61 Tests.

England, who’ve retained the Ashes, lead the five-match series 2-0.
