Explosions, gunfire in Kabul: witnesses

A series of explosions and gunfire were heard in the west of Afghanistan capital Kabul around dawn on Monday, witnesses said.

An attack was taking place in the vicinity of a border police complex on the road to the parliament, residents in the area told AFP.
