MSNBC's Maddow: Ensign's Affair Issue is Serious

Examiner: Though Senator Ensign’s role in an extra-marital affair with a campaign staffer whose husband worked in his Senate office was shocking, it didn’t garner the attention that the many sexual scandals that have plagued the GOP have. He was, however, criticized for his hypocrisy because of his stance on the “sanctity of marriage” and his harsh criticism of President Clinton for having an extra-marital affair.
