Trump Tweets: “Tariffs Are The Greatest!”

President Donald Trump celebrated tariffs Tuesday morning as “the greatest.”

Tariffs are the greatest! Either a country which has treated the United States unfairly on Trade negotiates a fair deal, or it gets hit with Tariffs. It’s as simple as that – and everybody’s talking! Remember, we are the “piggy bank” that’s being robbed. All will be Great!

In another tweet, Trump said that tweet that his administration’s trade policies were getting other countries to cut new deals with the U.S.

Countries that have treated us unfairly on trade for years are all coming to Washington to negotiate. This should have taken place many years ago but,

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin recently returned from a meeting of the G20 nations in South America where things went far better than predicted. Rather than being outraged at U.S. trade policies, the G20 finance ministers were eager to meet with U.S. officials, according to reports.
