The Redskins lost to the Cowboys. And then their fans lost it.

A  video taken on the concourse of FedEx Field shows Cowboys and Redskins fans scuffling after the 19-16 Dallas road-dog victory. “Motherf—ers are crazy,” explains the man shooting the footage. “That’s what happens when the Cowboys win.”

The video shows a man in a Jason Witten jersey recovering on the ground with a knife next to his leg. A Redskins backer, displaying a commitment to his fellow man that transcends team alliance, tends to the fallen fan. Grown men in Alfred Morris, Tony Romo, Chris Cooley, and Darrell Green jerseys gawk in amazement.

“This guy got f—ing stabbed,” the iPhone videographer explains. “There’s a knife on the ground.”

Though the amateur cameraman indicates a stabbing, and the video evidence suggests as much, Fox5 in Washington reports that “the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department says they did not respond to a stabbing at any point during Monday’s game at Fed Ex Field.”

The event follows a murder that took place earlier this season outside of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, after a Cowboys loss.

The Redskins briefly enjoyed sole possession of first place in the once-mighty NFC East before the game. But the loss puts them in a three-way tie at the top with the Eagles and Giants at 5-7. Amazingly, at 4-8, after going ahead by three with nine seconds left against Washington, the Dallas Cowboys remain in the playoff hunt. Win out and they likely make the playoffs.

“We are aware of an altercation that took place at FedEx Field following Monday’s game,” a Redskins spokesman announced. “We thank members of the Prince George’s County Police Department who responded promptly to break up the altercation and arrested both men involved. Neither sustained injuries that required hospitalization. We will continue to gather more information on the matter and ensure the safety of all fans at FedEx Field.”

About ensuring the safety of all fans at FedExField: don’t let the rival team score 13 points in the last four-and-a-half minutes and everything will be cool.
