Four illegal immigrants crossed the U.S./Mexico border while a local news camera captured the incident.

A camera crew with ABC13 witnessed the border crossing as two of the four men can be seen in the footage rolling on the ground and eventually standing on their feet to escape.

The report states the four illegals “crossed the Rio Grande and were rolling their way into the United States to avoid detection by the Border Patrol, which was set up just two hundred yards away.”

Donald Trump visited Laredo, Texas over a year ago, promising to build a border wall to keep crossings like this one from occurring in the region.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) told ABC13 they were opposed to Trump’s plan to increase border security and deport criminal illegal immigrants.

“He proposed a border wall,” one LULAC member said. “The fact of the matter is there is a border wall already from California to New Mexico almost.”

The border barrier currently along with U.S./Mexico border does not prevent crossings like the one seen by ABC13 in Texas.

Breitbart Texas reported a 37 percent increase in Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) apprehensions in October. In that same month, there was a 19 percent increase in Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) apprehensions.
