Police in Round Rock, Texas, say they found two parents passed out in their car in a Target parking lot with two babies, heroin, and cocaine.

Police officials in the Austin suburb said they were dispatched on December 22 to a Target store parking lot to conduct a “welfare check” on two people who were reported to be asleep inside their car. Officers found Cory Holloman, 26, and Amirah Silver, 23, unconscious in the front seat, according to police documents obtained by the Austin ABC affiliate, KVUE and reported on December 28.

Two children were found by the Round Rock police officers in the back seat of the car. The 1-month-old infant and a 1-year-old baby were strapped in car seats in the back of the car.

Officers said Holloman told them he and Silver were driving from Austin to Maryland. He said they stopped in the Target parking lot because they were tired after three days of no sleep. One possible explanation for the lack of sleep could be the assortment of drugs and paraphernalia found by police in the car.

The police affidavit states both suspects had “track marks” on their arms. Officers found cocaine and black tar heroin in Holloman’s possession, KVUE reported. The affidavit stated officers also found Xanax in Silver’s purse. She allegedly did not have a prescription for the pills. The affidavit details the drug seizure as 2 ¼ Xanax pills, 9.5 grams of cocaine, and 2.9 grams of black tar heroin. Officers also found two used syringes, three spoons with residue, and marijuana. These items were allegedly in a box under one of the babies.

Jail records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed that Holloman was charged with a State Jail felony for Child Endangerment with Criminal Negligence and two charges for possession of the cocaine and heroin. The cocaine charge was listed as a second degree felony while the heroin charge was listed as a third degree felony. Bond was set at $20,000 on each charge.

The records also revealed a previous charge from July 2016. He was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, brass knuckles, a Class A misdemeanor. He pleaded not guilty to the charge which is still pending.

Silver was also arrested and charged with a State Jail felony for Child Endangerment with Criminal Negligence. She faces one drug charge, a second degree felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $10,000 on the child endangerment charge and $20,000 on the felony drug charge. Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas show she has an outstanding warrant for a misdemeanor expired license plate violation. She also had a previous charge of driving with an invalid license. That charge was dismissed.

The couple posted bond on December 26, court records show and were released. Silver also paid the fine on the outstanding warrant before being released.

Reports did not include a disposition for the two babies found in the car.
