Krauthammer: Iran Agreement Makes Ukraine Deal ‘Look Like a Success’

Columnist Charles Krauthammer said that the Iran nuclear agreement makes “the sellout of Ukraine” look “like a success in comparison with this”on Tuesday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel.

“These last details that are coming out now about the agreement being time-limited, meaning that in a decade Iran can essentially become a legitimate nuclear power, develop its weapons without any restraints, and remember this will mean a lifting of the sanctions. So, Iran will be, with a very strong economy undeterred, nothing in any way holding it back. It’s simply catastrophic, it’s really unbelievable, and when Obama says we want to make sure it doesn’t have a nuclear weapon, that was not the objective of these negotiations, it was to stop the Iranian nuclear program. There are six UN resolutions saying they have to stop enrichment. It allows enrichment, it’s going to allow a new generation of centrifuges, it’s going to allow the development of ballistic missiles…and the worst element is, it’s going to end in time, at which point, Iran will be a legitimate nuclear power. It is an unbelievably bad deal. It makes the Cuba deal look like a really good bargain, and makes the sellout of Ukraine at Minsk — it looks like a success in comparison with this” he stated.
