Tuesday, Cincinnati Reds pitching prospect Ian Kahaloa was suspended 50 games after a second positive test for a drug of abuse.
A Snapchat video apparently showing Kahaloa snorting a white substance has now surfaced after becoming public last month.
Reds player development director Jeff Graupe said the person in the video is Kahaloa to the “best” of his “understanding,” adding that the organization is “concerned” about the 19-year-old.
According to Graupe, the Reds held Kahaloa, one of their top prospects, out of spring training this year because of concerns about his drug use.
