Friday in front of TV cameras at Joint Base Andrews, President Donald Trump commented on his decision to name current Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly to replace Reince Priebus as White House chief of staff.
“He’s a good man,” Trump said. “John Kelly will do a fantastic job. General Kelly has been a star, done an incredible job thus far, respected by everybody, a great, great American. Reince Priebus is a good man. Thank you very much.”
Trump had initially made the announcement to the public on Twitter Friday afternoon.
