Police: Drunk Woman Attacks Florida Trooper After 120-mph Joyride

A Florida woman is in trouble after allegedly going on a drunken high-speed joyride and attacking a police officer with her fingernails after getting pulled over.

Florida Highway Patrol said 31-year-old Brittany Bianchi was doing 120 mph in a 55 mph zone when she was pulled over in St. Petersburg around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Fox News reported

After the Mercedes Bianchi was allegedly speeding in was pulled over by a state trooper, she became “violent.”

While the woman was being taken into custody for driving under the influence, she allegedly dug her fingernails into the trooper’s hands, making the situation worse for herself in the end. According to the report, the DUI charge is Bianchi’s third offense in ten years. 

She was also charged with resisting an officer with violence, battery on law enforcement, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, and an additional charge for driving without insurance.

In footage of the traffic stop obtained by Fox News by the Florida Highway Patrol, Bianchi can be heard using abusive and profane language with the troopers and claiming that none of the charges will hold up in court.

Bianchi was then taken to the Pinellas County Jail. She reportedly posted her bond, which was assessed at $17,800, and was subsequently released Sunday morning.
