Five Shot Outside Chris Brown Concert in San Jose

Five people were reportedly shot in the wee hours of Sunday morning near a Chris Brown concert in San Jose, California. The rapper tweeted that he was unharmed, and all five victims are expected to survive.

The San Jose Mercury News reported:

According to San Jose police, gunfire was reported about 1:20 a.m. near the Fiesta nightclub on Monterey Road near Rancho Drive and across the street from the West Wind Capitol Drive-In. Officers arrived to find four people who suffered gunshot wounds, and they were rushed to the hospital. A short time later, another shooting victim walked into a local hospital.

Amateur video of the scene inside the nightclub shows the moment the shots rang out (at about 1:10), at which point the audience and performers all ducked, amidst screams and general mayhem at the back of the venue.

More shots rang out as patrons began to flee the venue, amidst screams and the sounds of broken glass.
